Computer Museum

I am collecting old computers for exhibitions. Some of what I have work, and some don’t. Some look really good, and some are quite beaten up. There are photographs of what I have, giving you an indication of the condition in this gallery.

If you have anything that you would like to donate – I promise to look after it, feed it and stroke it regularly, and exhibit it whenever possible – please drop it into me in my office:
Room C49,
Llandinam Building,
University of Wales, Aberystwyth
SY23 3DB.

You could just drop me an email describing it, and I might even come and pick it up, or arrange collection and transport.

Eventually, I will try to prepare information pages on all the machines I have, but for now this is a placeholder.

  1. I was going to do this for my computer room wall…

I’ve got no idea why (maybe it’s the ‘men is sheds’ syndrome) but I just love looking at the computers I used to own.

I’ve got a zx81, a couple of Mac SEs and that’s about it now… I’d really like to get my hands on a Vic-20, acorn electron, commy 64 and an amiga so I can make a collage on my wall.

If I ever get it going – I’ll post back with a photo…

    Tony.
